Covid 19

​Sparrow is taking robust health and safety precautions to combat covid 19. All of our movers are tested weekly and wear personal protective equipment while on duty. We sweep and disinfect the interior of the box truck after every move and each team member is required to change their clothes once each move is complete. We kindly ask our customers to wear masks during any interaction with Sparrow Movers and we would greatly appreciate it if you limited the amount of people in or around the apartment while we’re moving.

What should I do before my move:

Pack everything properly, reserve elevators in both buildings, make arrangements for your pet if you anticipate any fur family related difficulties, i.e., your dog hates strangers. Reserve street parking if you are able. We’ll call you to go over this one week before your move. If you would like us to pack your belongings for you, please reserve ahead of time.

What should I expect on the day of my move (amount of movers, size of truck, time frame):

We typically send a 17” box truck and two movers the day of your move unless we’re moving something bigger than a two bedroom apartment. Two bedrooms or smaller within a ten mile radius typically take six hours. Stairs, traffic, or issues with the elevator may add to the expected completion time. If you are moving from any home larger than two bedrooms, let us know and we will send the appropriate equipment and number of movers.

What should I do if something is damaged

Sparrow is proud of the care and respect we show our customers and their possessions. Unfortunately, sometimes stuff happens. If something is damaged during the move we will or repair or replace promptly, typically within 24 hours.

How much should I tip my movers

Customers typically tip each mover the same way you would tip a waiter at a restaurant. We appreciate your generosity!

Do you offer other services?

Yes, we haul junk and offer packing services. Boxes are included in the packing quote.

Payment

We accept cash, card, or check. We will send you an invoice for the deposit when you book.
